BMW Celebrates Pride 2020
This year, in-person Pride events were cancelled, but Pride was still celebrated nationwide. BMW created the “Driven by Pride” campaign to celebrate 50 years since the original Stonewall riots for LGBT rights.
BMW’s “Driven by Pride” campaign focused on the human elements of what it means to be “driven” within the community, highlighting solidarity, acceptance, love, hope, connection, advocacy, and more.
As part of the Pride campaign, we, along with BMW national, partnered with The Trevor Project’s “Pride Everywhere” initiative. The Trevor Project is the world’s largest crisis intervention and suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ young people providing 24/7 crisis counseling. We were proud to partner with such an important organization that provides much-needed services to the community during these challenging times.
Finally, BMW participated in the social-distanced Pride parade in NYC on Sunday, June 28th, unveiling the official Pride Wrap on the 8 Series Convertible.
